Coaching sessions are useful in situations where you don’t see any way out, be it at work or private. These situations might be distinguished in work or private, however your problem is often on both fronts. It is often a mix of various difficulties. Over the years, I have specialized in particular in coaching men, regarding issues as described below.

Overwhelming situations

  • Excessive workload, very long working days, working on your days off
  • Suffering from burnout, not being able to make your limits clear, being loyal to your colleagues except to yourself

Often absent fathers play a role, due to being a lot from home because of their job, or he is at home but with his attention elsewhere, or he passed away, or divorced parents. Then you take easily your father’s place in as (eldest) son. It results in your adult life in taking up someone’s place. It results in confusion, impatience, anger.

When you are feeling, that you are stuck, or got into a vicious circle, how do you get out? During a consult you get encouraged by the right questions, to find out, in which areas you are not seeing your own qualities yet. You will get more in balance with yourself. Your self-esteem at a deeper level starts there.

You discover that you will be more positively about yourself. Your health grows, you will start to know and respect your own boundaries. The beauty of this, is that as soon as you show your own boundaries, other people will often respect you. They don’t have to look for you.

Method

Working from your coach question, we establish what is going well and where it blocks. We take a look at the place you take in, your way of communication and body language. Perhaps it is time to let go of things, to process or accept something. We will check your positive attributes, often qualities where you might not be as aware of.

I alternate serious work with humor or lightness for a healthy balance. You will be handed practical tools, with which you can get started right away to change your life.

The number of sessions we determine together. In general, you likely need a limited number of sessions. Otherwise feel free to come by for one session.
